I pick up, and I unlock things remotely

A machine that will not start, a doubt about the payment terminal, a cycle that looks stuck: call me or message me on WhatsApp. I can act on the machines and on the terminal from where I am, and most of it is sorted out in a few minutes.

What “remotely” means here

In a lot of launderettes, a number stuck on a wall leads nowhere. Here the whole place is connected, and I use it while we are talking.

  1. 1

I can see what happened on the machine

Everything is connected: I can find the payment, the amount put in, the time and the cycle asked for. You do not have to convince me a machine failed to start, I can read it.

  2. 2

I can look at the cameras during the call

If something is still unclear, I look live while we are talking. That is often what makes the problem obvious in thirty seconds.

  3. 3

I unlock it, then restart it

Machine, payment terminal, door: I can act on all of them from my phone. Most problems are cleared without you having to wait.

  4. 4

And if that is not enough, we meet

A WhatsApp or FaceTime video call, and I talk you through it step by step. And if the problem needs someone on site, a neighbour can come round: I open the door for them remotely.
