Each machine offers 4 programmes, on the 7 kg and the 18 kg alike, so 8 in all. They all wash cold, in 32 minutes, with detergent and ozone disinfection included. What changes is how gently the drum turns:

• 🧺 EVERYDAY OZONE: the fastest, and the one that spins best, so your laundry dries faster afterwards. On the 7 kg: cotton, sheets, towels, hard-wearing fabrics. On the 18 kg: duvets, pillows, king-size sheets, bulky loads.
• 👕 SYNTHETIC OZONE: the drum turns more slowly, to keep creasing and pilling down. It also neutralises smells. On the 7 kg: polyester, viscose, sportswear. On the 18 kg: synthetic duvets, polyester pillows, bulky delicates.

A duvet goes in an 18 kg machine (€9.50). 🛏️

• Feather, down or cotton duvet: Everyday Ozone 18 kg, which the machine's screen describes as perfect for duvets, pillows and king-size sheets.
• Synthetic (polyester) duvet: Synthetic Ozone 18 kg is made for it, with a gentler drum.

Ozone disinfection takes care of things along the way, dust mites included. At the dryer, allow two or three cycles of 15 minutes, depending on how thick the duvet is.

Yes, on the Delicate Ozone programme. 👗

It runs at minimum speed, like washing by hand, and always cold: no heat to shrink your wool.

Two things to check on the label:

• A crossed-out tub: the item cannot go in water, not even cold. That one is for the dry cleaner's.
• A hand in the tub: the maker asks for hand washing. Delicate Ozone may do, but at your own risk.

At the dryer, choose low heat, or the airer for a precious item.

How long you need depends on:

The 13 kg high-performance dryers are very effective. ⚡

Just as for the wash, the most fragile item decides. 🌀

• High heat: cotton, denim and household linen, which dry fast and safely.
• Medium heat: synthetics and sportswear. Hot enough to dry, gentle enough not to warp them.
• Low heat: wool and fine knits, which shrink in heat.
• Delicate drying, or the airer: silk, lace, anything precious.

💡 On the care label, the dots in the circle of the square say the same thing: three dots, high heat; two, medium; one, low. A crossed-out square: no dryer.

It is not obvious, so here is how: you pay cycle by cycle, not all at once. 🌀

The easiest way is the Simply Pay app: start another 15-minute cycle as many times as you need, in a few seconds, without getting up.

The cycles stack on their own in 15-minute blocks: run three back to back and the dryer turns for 45 minutes without stopping in between.

Reckon on one or two cycles for a load from a 7 kg machine, two or three for a load from an 18 kg machine, depending on the type of laundry. 🧺

No. Dry cleaning is done with solvents, at a dry cleaner's: the launderette only washes with water, in a machine. 🚫

Check the care label before you come:

• A circle with a letter or a crossed-out tub: take it to the dry cleaner's. That is often the case for suits, coats and evening dresses.
• A tub, with or without bars: the item can go in the machine. For something fragile, choose Delicate Ozone, always cold.

Inside the launderette there are two comfortable chairs and a big folding table if you would rather stay put. 🪑
